JRU plants cherry trees in the Memorial Hall of The War of Resistance Against Japan

Delegates from JRU visited the Memorial Hall of The War of Resistance Against Japan on April 16, and took part in tree planting. They planted the hall's garden with 10 cherry trees in the presence of its Director, Mr. Wang, and its Vice Director, Mr. Wei as a sign of a friendship between China and Japan.

In September last year, JRU member came to the memorial hall and provided a contribution to 'the Foundation for Peace Education and Study of War History against Japan', with messages that JRU is penitent that Japan committed atrocities to Chinese people in the last war, and blames Japanese government for advancing along the road to war. As a result, they developed a better understanding about JRU's peace activities, and planned this year's memorial tree planting.
