"The International Solidarity Unions' Meeting was held on October 30"

We had "The International Solidarity Unions' Meeting" with foreign union delegates from
11 countries, discussing the theme of 'Fight against oppression on trade unions and strengthen
international solidarity' on October 30. All the foreign members addressed their determination
on their support and solidarity for JRU7.

The participants were from Australia, New Zealand, The Philippines, Indonesia, Mongolia,
Canada, Ireland, France, Hungry, and Poland.

In the meeting, We discussed various issues such as oppression on workers, privatization,
and Iraq, and assured the need to make solidarity to fight against oppression. In addition, JRU
called for participation in the upcoming WSF2004.

Wd adapted 'Joint International Appeal', and as well as 'Resolution for solidarity with Korean workers' through unanimous.

On the following day of October 31, our delegates visited the Korean embassy to submit
the resolution.
